Hi everyone,
I was wondering if you could help me out with the current problem I have. That problem is that I can't figure out how to scale. So I am very curious what path/strategy/direction you would choose.
I built an online product/membership for Dutch stock investors. I launched it and was trying to sell it pretty directly without a funnel back in march 2026. I got my first customers that way! Very awesome feeling that you can sell with free YouTube content.
The good news is that I have proof that there is some demand for my online membership. Currently I have about 15 people who are paying between €11.99 - €14.99 per month. Only one guy canceled his subscription but that was because of other reasons than the quality of the product. The other members love the product so far. I am very grateful for this!
However my goal is to reach a monthly income with my business of around €2k/€3k. This would be enough to quit my worst enemy called the Rat Race and work everyday on the thing I love doing and that is helping Investors with my knowledge and experience. Right now I am around €300 a month (memberships + YouTube Adsense). Affiliate income will come soon so that will help but I really want to scale my membership because I have a lot more control.
Right now my marketing strategy is something like this:
1. I make free Youtube Content twice a week. The views are getting up! Most video's are now 2k - 4.5k views which is pretty decent for the Dutch investing niche. In the video I will show my membership or/and my free lead magnet so I can gather their e-mail.
2. The lead magnet strategy is active since september the 23rd so one month. In that time I got around 65 e-mails and they got my free stock investing checklist. The page got 91 views so far and has a conversion rate of around 38%.
3. After they get the checklist, they will receive around 6 e-mails to warm them up so they will buy the membership. Not everyone opens all 7 mails. Maybe 30%. Unfortunately I got zero sales from the e-mail marketing so far but it has been about one month.
4. The check-out page has 31 unique visitors since september the 23rd. Of that amount, 2 visitors took a free 14-day trial and now they are both paid members. So the conversion rate is around 9%.
That is basically the strategy right now and I am wondering where the problem lies. And how I can fix it gain 10+ members a month. I would be the happiest man in the world if I can achieve my goal of €2k - 3k a month with this business.
So I thought about these fixes, and I am curious about your opinion:
1. The funnel maybe already works but I am giving it not enough time. One month for the e-mail strategy is not a lot (however I am trying to sell directly since march and that does not scale my business).
2. I have a visitors problem. There a not a lot of people who look at my buying page, only 31 viewers. 91 views for the lead magnet page is not even 100+. Maybe I could bring in more people to my page if I also start making daily content on TikTok, Instagram and Youtube Shorts? Maybe Paid ads?
3. Maybe I have a lead magnet problem. Thousands of Youtube views per video and still 91 views for the lead magnet page is not a lot?
4. Maybe I have an e-mail marketing problem? 0 sales since the start.
5. Maybe you see another problem and fix.
