I'm Alex Principato, I'm a 38 year-old guy and I'm currently writing to you from my Airstream travel trailer, currently parked in Austin, TX. But... I'll be getting a permanent place in Las Vegas within the next 3 months.
@MJ DeMarco : Your books are more than a breath of fresh air, they are truly life changing. I'm a self help nerd and have devoured everything I can get my hands on since reading Think and Grow Rich and How to Win Friends and Influence people, back in 2008. That was also the year I came back to Orange County, California after spending the previous year in Chicago, where I got my start with Hyatt.
As of January 31, 2025, I have lived unscripted ... but it wouldn't be until eight months later that I would learn the true definition of the word, thanks to MJ.
Thanks to the advice and inspiration from Arnold Schwarzenegger's latest book, Be Useful, I made the decision to become a voice actor and dedicate all of my efforts to seeing that vision become reality. It was in late November of 2024 that I would stumble upon Keith Alan's ad on Craigslist and begin taking voice acting lessons from his studio, 57th Street Media near Tampa, FL.
I gained my very first mentor, but little did I know that Keith would go on to become not only a friend... but also my business parter and co-host of our podcast.

I took my life back from debilitating OCD in the summer of 2018. I had support. I had resources. But millions do not. And... there is an immense void that needs to be filled so that people suffering in silence can steal their lives back.
Disorder Destroyers is a new media and coaching platform focused on mental health—specifically OCD, ADHD, anxiety and depression. These are struggles we’ve lived through personally, and now we’re turning our healing into impact.
Right now, our core team includes me (Alex) and co-founders Ari Feliu and Keith Alan — pro voice talent (former voice of ABC News Tonight with Peter Jennings).
We’re launching a podcast called Disorder Destroyers under an LLC of the same name. It will live alongside two sub-brands: OCD Destroyers (which I lead) and ADHD Destroyers. I plan to create sub-brands for every type of disorder known to man. The mission? To help people become total badasses at defeating whatever they’re fighting—through love, care, community, empowerment, and laughs. Think of therapy, but with a heavy dose of AC/DC and mortality motivation injected into it! ❤️
Currently, I haven't found ANYONE approaching therapy the way I'm doing it!
The podcast is all about that “me too” moment. It’s where raw truth meets real solutions—backed by professional guests, honest stories, and a tone that makes you feel seen, heard, and hopeful. Revenue from the podcast will help grow the coaching side, and vice versa—building a self-sustaining engine of healing.
One in four people silently suffer with OCD and related disorders. Disorder Destroyers exists to give them a place to belong — and a plan to fight back.
This is about fulfilling work, saving lives, and changing the world. And we’ll always keep one thing sacred: people over profit.
