Well, I think its about time I posted a progress thread. I have been working on this project for some time now and have sunk enough money into it, yet I'm not keeping track of my progress anywhere. So here it goes.

First let me say that I am not afraid to disclose my entire plan on this site. I dream to become wealthy just as many on here do too. If my idea helps someone else to accomplish their dreams then all the better.

The Project: Coastal Law Online LLC (Coastal Law Online LLC)

Coastal Law Online LLC is an online web listing of Law Firms, Attorneys, and Lawyers throughout the Gulf Coast. Right now I am targeting from Gulfport, Mississippi to Destin, Florida.

Mission Statement: Provide the people of the Gulf Coast an easy and reliable source to find Legal Representation during hard times.

How it Works: We sell the Law Firms a space on the Website. Throughout various types of advertising and marketing our website is quickly known around the Gulf Coast as "The Place To Go". Keep the fee for listing low enough that if the Law Firms only get one client a year through the site, it pays for itself. There are also two different types of ways to be listed on the website. You have our Basic Membership, where the law firm gets their own page in our site. That page contains all pertinent information on how to contact them as well as a nice paragraph (up to the firm on what it contains) on why to choose that firm. At the top of the page will be a Web Banner for that firm that is hyperlinked to their Website. Provided they have one

Then you have our "Featured Firms". These firms pay a little more for registration, however they get their return ten-fold. The featured firms will get all that is included in our Basic Membership, and then some. Their Web Banner will be on an auto rotation on the Home Page of our website. Also, their firms will be mentioned during radio advertisements as well as posted on some of our billboards, posters, and flyers around town. They will be able to reach far more people and for a lot less money than if they were to do it themselves.

I will accomplish this by using 75% of all revenue for advertising. Due to the fact that this business will only work with sufficient advertising that number may fluctuate month to month. (This is after I pay myself first of coarse!! lol)

So where am I at right now? Well the website is up, and already on the first page of google. I accomplished this through SEO and the help of Google Adwords. The page has only been up a little over a week, and already I have had over 7500 visitors. The LLC has been legally formed with the help of LegalZoom.com. I only have example law firms in each city right now, but I am sitting in front of 100 packed envelopes that are going to be sent out whenever I get off my a$$ and go to the post office. 60 are headed to law offices around Pensacola Florida while the other 40 are headed to offices around Mobile Alabama. This is only a very small percentage of the available clients to us in this area. According to demographics there are 7,789 Law offices from Gulfport mississippi to Destin Florida. I think that the best promotion for us will be from word of mouth between lawyers and firms. We'll see though!

My goals: By the end of January I would like to have 5 clients listing on our site. By the end of the quarter (March) I would like to bring that number up to 20, and by the end of the year I would like to hit 100.

So there you have it, that's what I'm doing and where I am at right now. I suppose I had better get off to the post office and mail these out or I'll never get any clients.

I'll be sure to keep you guys all posted on progress as well as any regression. I am super siked about this project, and I WILL NOT stop working and punching that gas pedal to the floor as I am on the "On Ramp" to the Fastlane!!
