it sounds philosophical but I could identify more opportunities when someone would challenge my idea:
I know need is the most fundamental thing for a business by definition, the willingness that someone gives you money is the fountainhead.
butt are entrepreneurs always really problem solvers? I mean the F*cking fidget spinner worth millions\ billions didn't make the world a better place probably even worse for the nature bc of all the waste. a widget spinner now is just waste
of course now some will come and say it solved the problem and need for adhd aka entertainment
only few needs are obvious like food, transportation, energy, housing
you get it

a prophet must think outside the box
are you looking for business opportunities to scratch existing itches or are you inventing itches and sell the salve against it afterwards?
