Hey guys. I was thinking to myself after I read another thread a few minutes ago.
Problem: Wouldn't it be nice to have a thread solely dedicated to "golden nuggets"? Imagine reading line after line of Fastlaner thread snippets that are so valuable you just want to get a tattoo of them all.
Value from this thread...
1) Cut down the time you/another person time spend searching for inspiration/insight/adrenaline/whatever you want to call it.
2) Reduce the number of people lurking on the forum(an easy reason for them to engage and create value)
3) For anyone digging through threads, this thread will give you consistent high-value post recommendations(that may have gone under the radar)...
4) You create value for someone else by sharing what you learned
5) You get to freeze a moment in time that you can look over again and again and again
Bonus: I think I just gave you the easiest way to farm-like ratio.
This thread is going to be a catalog of spontaneous thoughts/Fastlaner quotes that really speak to you. You share it, immortalize it, then someone reads it, and it not only helps you but another person reading it as well.
It's like the ShortForm service that offers book summaries or channels like "Movie Recaps" which does the same for movies on Youtube.
This is the format:
Topic: (what the quote is about/what problem it solved for you )
Source: (the thread URL/title)
Quote: (copy/paste)
Notes: (whatever you think will be useful to you a few days/weeks from now)
If they like what they read, they can jump to the original post. Time saver for them.
I took inspiration from the "rant" thread, except you don't rant.
You give your opinion on something you read in the forum and forward it to someone else.
If what you read solves a problem for you, it'll probably solve a problem for someone else too.
