First off I want to make a disclaimer that while similar, I feel this is still a different idea from both of those threads. Why? Here goes-
SCENARIO- "You earn a modest middle class wage($40-70k/yr), however you have equal that amount in fixed expenses(mortgage, utilities, CC/student loan bills, food, etc) and as you are a 20-something you have only about 1-2 months worth of living expenses saved up and your resume/experience is not enough to get you another job in this economy that doesn't involve the words 'would you like fries with that'
INITIAL GOAL- replace $4-5k/mo in 2 months or start figuring out ways to cut out from the $4-5k/mo in fixed expenses even if this means losing your home, selling off toys and moving back in w/ mommy and daddy until you can get back to where you were.
ULTIMATE GOAL- financial freedom! After blood, sweat and tears either that $4-5k has turned into relatively passive income and you have time to enjoy your previous lifestyle without punching a clock OR now that the $4-5k/mo is passive and all cumbersome bills are lifted, you have the time, energy and motivation to work towards 5 and 6 figure monthly cashflow projects.
So this fits perfectly between "you have a particular skill(or skills) and an impressive resume earning $100k+ as well as $100k in savings, you just got laid off and need to replace that within 1yr" and "you have no skills and only $3k, but you want to become an instant millionaire in 15 months".
I'll start with a few ideas, considering that you have to think in a $$ per day day level, therefore $4-5k is about $150/day. What can be done that will earn $150/day?
Here's 4 ideas ranked from slowlane(dollars for hours) to fastlane(dollars for ideas/systems)
1-odd jobs on craigslist @ 8hrs/day and $20/hr
2-learn SEO in 1 month(30DC, Shoemoney 12wk course, etc, etc- eat sleep and breath it in one month) and then apply your new skill as a consultant
3-building and flipping websites @ 3/day and avg $50 profit/site
4-build a brand and license it within the 1-2 months with fair royalty payment up front and 3-5% ongoing royalties
So consider this the 20-something version of this "question" and brainstorm away :coolgleamA:
