Hello everyone,
I am 26 years old and have been studying success and successful people for several years now. At 18, I graduated from high school and went off to junior college to study music and business. After year or two I took an internship with a major record label in Los Angeles and subsequently was promoted to an assistant to two Vice Presidents of A&R for the company. During this time period I got involved in web development, data mining and graphic design. I moved on to become a contracted manager at a successful music management firm. I had some personal issues and took a sabbatical from the industry and never went back. The data mining operation was relatively successful discovering a few number one acts by computing ratios of certain statistics from the internet. I moved on and began developing websites. I have a few projects that I'm working on for myself. I currently work for a motivational speaker in Hollywood, California whose name I won't mention.
The most important ideal that I've learned is that failure is just a foundation for success. I don't get discouraged if something doesn't work out, I keep going and push myself harder. I show up, take action and have a great attitude. I enjoy the forum and hope to be a regular poster here.
