I hate to break it to you, but Australia has more economic freedoms than America, and this is proven.

Australia definitely has its issues but comparing it to the United States in the manner you have is just misleading.

Australians literally can't even leave their country right now and are only allowed 1HR of outdoor activity per day for exercise, from what I'm hearing. And it sounds like Australians' other freedoms like entering shopping malls and restaurants will be restricted if they refuse vaccination - View: https://twitter.com/ezralevant/status/1296060336546643970?s=20
.

Meanwhile Americans can legally purchase and own multiple assault rifles just for fun, and go about their business as they please. I don't think there is any comparison at all to be made.

I've been sick a couple times this year, at a 3% death rate, I'll take my chances

I don't smoke or drink, live a semi healthy lifestyle......gonna take my chances on this one :praise:

More worried about the bears around my house (which I see crawling around at night) even then I think dying in a bear attack is fairly slim....probably more likely to be killed by a drunk driver or getting swallowed by an orca while out in my mini yacht.

Lol Australian can't even own guns and they don't have free speech. Some lady got arrested for posting something on facebook.

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4Tp9oRw5aw

I'm so glad this website is one of the few that still allows open discussions without censoring. A website like this wouldn't be allowed in Australia.

Yes. The deep swab test is 97% accurate, and has results in 15 minutes.
Lol thinking the swab is accurate

Also last time a vaccine was enforced in the USA it ended up killing many people. They're still been sued for it.

OK I'm not the happiest when I wake up that was unfair. Sorry.

So what you are referring to with 1-hour activity is only happening in one state within Australia.

This isn't happening in the entire country, and the leader in the state is going to be overthrown. Many people are not happy and they are getting sued as we speak.

I don't know where you heard all of that in regards to shopping malls and vaccination. But again that's only happening in one state.

What you posted is one beorocrats opinion in regards to forced vaccination.

Australians can purchase guns contrary to popular belief they just are not as easy to buy as they are in America, you just need to get a gun licence. The laws around that are to prevent weapons from getting in the wrong hands.

Economic Freedom Index:

You can see above what are the freest countries.

Im not going to get into a debate about which countries the greatest.

You can leave the country right now, but it isn't easy to do so.

Our freedoms are trying to get taken away yes, but that's not really any different from the rest of the world right now.

It says on the Australian Gov website that permanent residents and citizens can't leave the country unless they have an exemption (urgent medical treatment, provision of aid, urgent & unavoidable business, etc.) Yes it is true that every country is imposing some sort of restrictions at this time, but I've never seen a major 1st world country restrict their own people from leaving like this, and for such a long period of time.

Even Canada didn't dare go this far. And usually Canada is at the top of the list when it comes to this kind of behaviour.

SOCIALISM :clap:: IS:clap:: AN:clap:: ECONOMIC:clap:: MODEL:clap::

Nothing to do with the regulations they may pass for their citizens in regards to the vaccine. They may be less liberal than America in any case but both countries have a free market economy. Now if you disagree that the government passes law for their citizens to quarantine that's another thing, just let's use the right words, y'know

The "No" vote for taking the vaccine is holding steady at 80%. If that carries over to the regular US population of 330M people, they will only need 66M doses. That might actually work out well.

Absolutely not. Rushing a vaccine to market without proper testing is a recipe for disaster.

Too bad, I will be labeled a conspiracy nutjob and an anti-vaxxer for it!
lol. Aus and Sweden are not socialist.

I won't be taking the rushed vaccine.
I'd never take a rushed vaccine.
But eventually, I think I'll take it too. Here in Switzerland, they don't rush it as much as in the US and have (to my knowledge) stricter rules than the US.
Its not rushed. It goes through the same strict FDA approval process as every other drug. The only thing different is that Trump has cut all the red tape BS out that delays things.

Yes, I will, provided I read the studies showing its effectiveness and safety first. They're testing the stuff on 30,000 people prior to final approval. That's enough of a sample for me to be satisfied that they've found most of the likely issues with the thing.

I run my life based on probabilities for stuff like this. if something is less than 1:10,000 chance, I deliberately decide not to worry about it. I especially decide not to worry about 1:1,000,000 chance things, the kind of thing that grips news reporters, sending them into hysteria. (Accidental shootings: 1:1,000,000; kids getting kidnapped by a stranger: 1:1,000,000, etc.)

If there is 1:30,000 chace I might have a bad reaction to the vaccine, I judge that as a better risk than a 1:500 chance of death if I get the disease at my age, and will get the vaccine. Death is a far worse consequence than the likely side effects of the vaccine. Beyond the risk of death, there are the longer term effects of the disease itself. I know someone my age (mid 40s) that will likely have permanent health consequences from the thing. This ain't no standard flu. The risk of serious longer term consequences is a few percent. That's big enough for me to sit up and take notice.

I think the only sensible answer is to look at the science behind the vaccine, the scientific discussion around it and see if the vaccines that come out are properly tested for safety. It is incredibly scary how many people have already decided that they outright won't take the vaccine, because it means they're not willing to examine the theory or evidence in detail before making their decision.

The CIA also killed every bird in the US and replaced them with surveillance drones, even the Bald Eagles.

Ever notice you see a lot of birds sitting on telephone poles? That's how they charge.

Omg yes. Ever notice the squirrels going up and down the poles? They're retrieving the tapes.

If you do your research, you won't even THINK about getting it or not, you just won't. There can't be a vaccine for cold (coronavirus), you'd have to make a new vaccine every year, and if they're enforced, welcome to medical fascism. It has nothing remotely to do with the virus. Never had a vaccine and never will, cause as someone mentioned, we all have a thing called immunity. This is definitely the scam of the century as far as fear mongering goes.

*7.000.000 deaths a year from Tabacco... "Meh, you got to die of something. "

1.000.000 deaths (just 6% of those from Covid alone and not 2+ other disease) from Covid19. "Don't hug your grandma or you could kill her. Safe sex is with a facemask. Children in plastic bubles its ok. Big Pharma loves you. Get your mandatory vaccine and your immunity passport now" .

If I take into account the age group I'm falling into and the CDC's statement in regards to comorbidies ("For 6% of the deaths, C0VlD-19 was the only cause mentioned."), then it's perfectly clear to me that I would more likely die in a plane crash than die from covid. If other people want to voluntarily finance this racket, all power to them, for me it's enough to involuntarily finance this greatest heist in history through future tax payments.

This covid19 "thing" is much less likely to kill you than tobacco. Don't watch mass media, they're full of shit and they're paid for by the few big shots who invented the fear mongering. It's nothing but a show in order for you to accept their "new order", "new normal" "new enslavement". Don't fall for the BS.

I probably not. I am not anti vaccine, but I don't see the point to take a product that they rush it to launch for a disease that doesn't affect young healthy people.

That is my feeling. The more rushed they are to give you a vaccine that hasn't been studied thoroughly is kind of where you get concerned about side effect. There's already people against vaccines prior. You screw this up, people really will be against vaccines.

Yes , I had COVID once and got away with a moderate cold. Dont want to gamble on a second bout. All my joints hurt and even though I had no respiratory symptoms I'm slightly shirt of breathe.

But , I took basic biology so i'm in a better place to read the studies and weigh / consider the vaccine.

I'm pretty excited about the technology of the Mrna vaccine. So its the messenger rna that codes for the spike protein in the virus (youve all seen pictures)

Then they wrap rhat in a psospholipid bilayer (oil , like the kind thats already in your bloodstream , hdl and ldl ring a bell?)

So , can't for the life of me see the negative. If its even mildly effective or useful for 3 months at a time thats a miracle.

Hopefully my gorked joints and apparently injured lung tissue repair in short order.

Also troubling to hear about cognitive effects in so many , even the asymptomatic.

The opinions expressed on this thread frustrate me. I respect all of you, but I don't think you're looking at this correctly. I'm going to say my peace, and let it stand as-is. I won't respond to comments. (I'm afraid if I do this will devolve into bad blood, which I don't want)

Also, I'm a little snarky in what I wrote below, so ... be prepared for that. I'm not trying to offend. I'm trying to get your attention and get you to think about things from a different perspective.

The attitudes that are anti-vaccine here seem to be: "A controlling big government is evil" "This thing was rushed, therefore its bad" "I have my freedom and am going to exercise it" "This virus isn't a big deal"

Let's take each one:

"A controlling big government is evil"

I agree. However, so what. A broken clock is right twice a day. If wearing masks is a good thing, its a good thing even if daddy makes you.

"This thing was rushed, therefore its bad"
No, it wasn't. Companies have been working on getting faster at vaccines for years. There is a TON of technology being brought to bear on this that has been in the works for a long time. Beyond that, the actual vaccines that are in development were actually developed many months ago. They have been in testing since then. Testing with actual human subjects: 30,000 of them per vaccine. I challenge you to read the studies when they're published. If they find that people die or sprout a third arm during the study, they'll say so. (And the FDA won't let the vaccine go into production). The kinds of side effects you can expect from a vaccine that passes a test with 30,000 people are minimal.

"But what about side effects that aren't caught during this test?" That means that there is a less than 1:30,000 chance you'll experience the side effect. You have about the same odds of dying in a car accident this year. I'm assuming you still drive...

"How do I know they're being truthful in reporting the correct statistics?" These things are public record. People will be looking for problems like this. Imagine being a reporter that finds the coverup? It would make your career. People are highly incentivised to dig into the details.

"I have my freedom and am going to exercise it"
Ok, but its still a bad decision. This virus isn't kind to a certain set of people. Read the studies of people who have long term side effects from this thing. They aren't fun. "But the death rate is 1/10th what they are saying." We all know that. Even at 10%, this thing isn't fun, and for elderly people, this thing is really not fun. Check out the statistics on polio. They're not too dissimilar to the statistics from covid. Pinkbook | Polio | Epidemiology of Vaccine Preventable Diseases | CDC

"This virus isn't a big deal"
Is it ebola? No, its not. But, its considerably worse than the flu for a significant number of people. If you didn't check out the link that talks about polio, go check it out. Very few people that caught the polio virus experienced the devastating effects of it. Most, something like 75% were asymptomatic. But, for a small percentage, it was quite terrible. Just like C0VlD-19.

"But I'm young and not likely to die."
So why not take the vaccine and help someone older not die.

"Aren't you just parroting media hysteria?"
I loathe the media. They disgust me. Truly. Reporters in general are vile, self-serving hypocrites. I've personally seen them take an event and twist what happened to the point that it was barely recognizable. And, this was on something innocuous. Imagine what they do to things that actually matter.

Science, however, is a different story. I'm not talking the science of the media with its grand, god-like pronouncements. I'm talking the messy, "here's my data, show me where I'm wrong" kind of science that admits when it doesn't know something, and tries to prove itself wrong. Science is honing in on this virus. There are now a lot of studies that have been published, and the picture it paints is of a virus that is not kind to millions of people.

Beyond all this, you're not going to change the overall public sentiment that causes the governments of the world to shut things down. We need herd immunity if only to make things go back to normal. Take the vaccine and help us end the economic devastation this thing has produced.

Except tobacco use won’t kill you in the span of a few weeks.

Why are you like this?
So is not about saving lives but rather diying slow instead of fast?

And i didn't mentioned 94% deaths with 2+ comorbidities. Financial ($) incentives to name deaths with Covid19 label. The creator of the PCR test saying it can't be used to diagnose a person of being sick. ETC... Covid 19 movie is boring and with lots of holes in the plot.
