I'll be honest, I was the biggest hater of no-code SaaS tools. I thought it was just a fun toy, and people were just wasting their time and or promoting to make affiliate sales. But over the past three months, I have completely changed my mind. And for context, I run a six figure content agency, and this is what I've been able to pull off through these tools namely Lovable:
1. A quality assurance software where my team members can upload their work and get immediate feedback 24/7 before it goes to my human quality assurance team, which has reduced mistakes, improved consistency, and just allowed the team to produce more quality work for an ongoing cost of 0. It runs on APIs, and my volume is within the free tier.
2. Create a personalised lead magnet creator so that my team members and my sales team can input information of the prospect with just a copy and paste and screenshot, and then it spits out like a really high quality premium tool that looks like I've spent three plus hours creating, but in reality my teams put it together in 15 to 30 minutes, and it's helped me go from booking one sales call a month from Cold Outreach to booking four calls in two weeks.
3. Simple dashboard that allows me to automate content publishing to Slack Alerts because some clients requested it. And this literally would have cost me hundreds of dollars a month if I were continuing to use Zapier as I did before, but through the low-code tool of Lovable that I use, I've now managed to again create this once and run it for free.
4. This one is in progress, but I'm building a tool that will automatically check my software where I schedule content for clients and then automatically update my airtable dashboard where I project manage everything. And this is something that a team member manually does twice a week, and it probably takes them like one to two hours each time. but by setting this up once, I can then make it run three times a day if I really wanted to. And it makes sure that all the data is up to date and we can easily spot when things are going wrong before it's a big issue. So yeah, really pleased with what I've been able to build with these types of things.
One downside is I find it's very easy to use all your credits. So I end up paying for the pro plan like$30 or whatever, and then I end up cancelling it after I've created what I need. So there is a small upfront cost, but you're literally saving hundreds, if not thousands, over the course of a year by being able to create really personalized amplifying tools for your workforce and save the time and money that you would have spent on a developer in the past. So absolute game changer. And the funny thing is, I know most agency owners won't do it because that's still stuck in just grinding 60 hour weeks and hiring a Filipino VA and just praying for the best. So if you jump on this now, I think there's a real edge you can have for the next 12 months or so.
The second downside is I think the tools can be quite fragile. And if you don't have developer domain knowledge, I don't think it's possible to create something that's client facing for like hundreds and thousands of people. But for just simple internal tools, it gets the job done.
