I think this is very real and practical. I am a business student now and I feel like some of the required classes to graduate are so pointless because you take away nothing from the class (gen eds mostly). Also, too many students work for the grade, not to gain applicable knowledge, in my opinion. Hell, I spend just as much time and energy reading books on entrepreneurship then I do on schoolwork.

Agree 110% with this. As an econ/IT major, I feel like I forget almost everything I've "learned". Only stuff I've learned that will be useful after graduation is website development/coding.

I can learn a business concept in a matter of minutes, learning an empirical formula for chemistry on the other hand...takes me hours!

It's really about if you like what you're learning, if I am intrigued and interested in the subject, I will excel. If not, I might as well not be there.

Thanks to share this interesting video. Totally agree with it at study stage we only focus on to get good grades. We don't focus on learning the knowledge. On the other hand it is need during study because everyone judge you with grades or good marks.

I don't measure a mans intelligence with letter grades, I measure it with commas.

He forgot Eike Batista (college dropout) and Harold Hamm, who never even went to college.
