I am curious what type of profit margin you guys are looking for in your products. One concern I have been having is the unpredictability of Google in terms of SEO because of the frequent algorithm changes. I feel one can't rely on SEO and so must have a big enough profit margin to allow for other paid traffic sources. I know conversion rate can have a big impact on this but what type of margin are you looking for on a product or service you promote?
The traditional information I have read on this seems to suggest that $30 is a good low end number. The other factor on the actual price is to have it to where it is roughly less than $300 as anything higher than this causes a more thoughtful buying decision (sign off by spouse, etc.).
