We just had our second shooting in a week!! I live in an upscale neighborhood in a private gated condo area. Who would think things like this would happen?? We had a shoot out last week about 20 yards from out unit while my son was outside playing kids games on a greentop with children's games on it like hop schotch etc. It happened in the early evening so people were with their children at the pool, people were out walking etc. It was so scary!! We live in a gated community. Supposedly some girl rap star and her boyfriend that live here got in a fight with some gang and they came in here to retaliate. They fired 8 rounds and thank God they were bad shots and didn't hit anyone. And then this morning there was a murder suicide right next to my childs school. They were showing the kids walking to school right by this crime scene. I don't get it, how has the world lost there sense of what a another persons life is worth? What next, I know the economy is tough, but have a sense to push forward through the hard times instead of taking another life!!
