Hello everyone! I would like to ask for advice from people who work remotely, perhaps on interior design - how do you find clients?
I am a founder of 3D Studio Flamingo, an architectural design studio specializing mainly on interiors.
We engage in interior design, 3D visualizations, 360 3D virtual tours, architectural drawings, and cost estimates for materials and furniture.
Currently, we have been operating in the local market for a long time, providing high-quality work.
However, we have decided to enter the American market.
Let me describe what we have tried.
Sending emails, WhatsApp messages, and calling design studios and construction companies didn't help. No one was interested.
Earning a steady income on Upwork is too slow. On Upwork, there are many people who want to save as much as possible but still receive quality work. (The same is true on Freelancer.com, but there is also intense competition with unqualified specialists)
Perhaps this was significantly affected by the fact that we are located in a small, little-known country - Montenegro. And although, thanks to a slightly lower cost of living, we can provide high quality for less money, there is almost no trust in us.
But, perhaps you can suggest other ways we can find clients? Maybe you have some tips?
