I didn't see a thread on him so figured I'd start one. Last night MSNBC aired a special on Warren Buffett. He seemed very real and despite all of the money he has he didn't let it go to his head. A brief synpnosis of it was he rarely traveled outside of Omaha. Students from a class visits his every year since the class itself is based around him. He has given advice to several sports stars, Alex Rodriguez (A Rod for short) in baseball and Lebron James in basketball. One comment he made to A Rod was to be the best you can be in baseball and then focus on investing. In a sense he said do what you are good at and then focus on investing. A Rod will not be a Warren Buffett and Warren Buffett will not be an A Rod. Lebron James is trying to be the first billionaire sports figure and he may just do that. He is marketing himself and is off to a good start. Everyone has a niche that they can do better than the next person, so focus on those strengths.
