Hello everyone! My name is Colin, and I'm currently in the planning stages of creating my first business. I'm here to connect with other entrepreneurs, learn from others' experiences, and share knowledge.

I'm not entirely sure what sort of things are against the rules here. I have a market research survey built to validate my idea - is that something that can be posted here? Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can get people to take the survey without paying a fortune?

Generally, people post generalities here. More detail is usually found on the INSIDERS's threads.

Also, for validating ideas, surveys tend to be fairly limited; actual conversations with potential customers yields much richer qualitative info.

That said, is your idea B2B, B2C, etc.? Do you have a specific picture of who your ideal customer is, how you'll reach them, and why they'd complete the survey?
