I was going to ask someone personally, but I thought maybe there are others out there who don't know this but wanted to ask but are embarassed.
I owe ~$500 in federal taxes and $300 in state taxes due by 4/15. If I file for an extension, does that mean I don't have the send in these checks until filing the taxes at a later date?
