hey guys! figured i would introduce myself.
i'm from california and am currently going through a fire academy to become a seasonal firefighter (40-50k for 6 months work doing something fun? hell ya!)
anyway... i like to think of myself as an entrepreneur but i havent been successful yet. i started with a lawn mowing business when i was little. made some good money for a 10 year old. i've made a few small websites trying to make revenue off advertising which all ended up failing. i tried a t-shirt business in an untouched market which ended up failing (though was a fun experience and only cost me $300). i suck at cheap marketing basically.
i have always hated the "normal" way of doing things. i hear the get a good grade so you can get a good job so you can make lots of money for someone thing one too many times in my life. i did go to uc davis for a little over a year but it wasnt my passion and a class in economics saved my life (learned about opportunity cost :smx4
i read the 40 hour work week and it has helped me focus on living life with the least amount of work possible but at the same time i am a firm believer in giving great value to customers to expect to get a lot of value back. that is simple business
i'm also a big poker player. i like to play for fun making a few hundred - > $1000 a month. my goal is to be a semi pro player on the side of pursuing business plans and maybe politics later in my life. i really want to live life to the fullest. i drool over automation and the fact that money can not enslave me yet give me almost unlimited experiences to living life to its fullest (you only have so many years!)
My current schedule/goals:
for my poker website and my goal for that, i wanted to do it in 2 months but through dedication and goal setting, i got it done in 1. it has really energized and motivated me. i know i can do anything i want as long as i put my mind to it.
see you guys around

My current schedule/goals:
- work 6 months of seasonal firefighting and get $30-45k in startup capital
- i am in the process of making a poker training website. it is free for teaching people the fundamentals of poker yet it refers people to playing at pokerstars (which i am affiliated with). i explain how you can turn $0 into $1000 like i did in one month or less. i get $75 for every person that signs up. now if only i can get 1,000 people to sign up a year then i have myself a full salary by doing nothing but documenting the thing i love to do
- travel playing up through the limits in online poker and playing some live poker. i might decide to live in vegas for a month or so to complete this goal.
- i want to backpack across europe with my laptop. i will see all of europe for a few months and just play like 5-10 hours of 100nl or 200nl a week.
- i havent really decided past this point in life. i've always wanted to get into real estate so i might try some of that. another thing i have always wanted to do was own a share or all of a windfarm. wind blows, i get money. have i told you guys i LOVE AUTOMATION yet?
