One of the most valuable chapters in the book for me was about recognizing needs. Out of that, an idea was born:
-there is a certain market need that is really badly serviced in my area. It really sucks as I've experienced on my own, and there are many onthers in my skin.
- there is a need for information, and who has the information first might havve an advantage. Currently getting relevant information is hard and getting an advantage is impossible.
- there is a potential to sell leads to service providers connected to the need
Can it scale? Questionmark. I know the need is underserved incertain (small) area, nit sure how it is outside of the area. but even this area should have the potential to grow into a small money pot flower if not a tree.
barrier? Can competiors implement the same idea? Established would have a problem since it they would need to change their business model. New ones probably could if they just wanted to be "me too".
The only way to test my hypothesis that people would buy this service is to build id. Investment should not be that high, probably below $10k.
My choice is if i proceed or return to be a cog in the slowlane. But i am damn afraid of failure.
