There's not a lot of things that are just as fun as gaming. Gaming gives you instant rewards without requiring you to do any real work. The thing is, those rewards don't mean anything.

Instead of concentrating on work that's "fun". Concentrate on rewards that are fun. Would having a nice house be fun? Would have a beautiful spouse be fun? Would attaining financial freedom be fun?

What I recently started doing is to ask myself this question "does it help reaching my goals?" if the answer is "no" I won't do it, if the answer is "yes" I'll do it. I always use that when I'm thinking about doing something that costs a bigger amount of time. I also do this for other goals like losing weight when choosing the food at the grocery store.

Of course playing games is fun, I loved to do it, but I completely quitted it for months now. There are just so many better ways to use my time. I didn't stop enjoying it, but I just don't do it anymore. I think with looking for something to work on that's similar enjoyable as gaming you are on the wrong way. This will only end in you trying to do something you love, instead of loving what you do, no matter how hard it is. Almost everything is fun as soon as you are good at it, getting good at it is the part that most people don't want to invest time and hard work into. Quit searching for a fun replacement of gaming and do whatever needs to be done, even if it's no fun. Just keep in mind that you will be able to play 3 days in a row if you want, as soon as you reached financial freedom.

Pretty good hustle there. I like it.

I can relate to the love of video gaming. I've been gaming my whole life. Fortunately for me, it comes and goes in waves. If you're careless when you're small, then you'll probably be careless when you're big.

In the past 8 months you made $1,338.51. Assuming a 40 hour work week, your time works out to $1.04 an hour. Even if you worked 1/20th of that, it's still worth it for you to save money.

If you're too lazy now to make $50 doing the easiest work there is, then you'll probably be lazy when it comes to optimizing actual processes in your business.

Ok guys I woke up 6 am today and went to the gym(I were all alone in the gym felt great) and now onto creating more videos for my kindle course I will update later maybe after lunch

If you think you are a wantrepreneur, guess what, you will be one until you change your beliefsystem. It's ok to be honest with yourself and tell yourself that you WERE a wantrepreneur. You need to understand that your beliefs and actions in the PAST resulted in what you are TODAY, but TODAY's beliefs and the following actions form who you will be in the FUTURE.

So accept that the PAST you was a wantrepreneur, and the FUTURE you will not be. Therefor you need to stop being a wantrepreneur NOW. You're not faking shit, you decide to think different and therefor your actions will be different.

Only got actual work done until lunch, after that I felt unmotivated and bored
I can't belive I'm saying this but life is really boring without video games lol
I just sat and stare at wall today for what felt like 2 hours...
Also I'm a little stuck on how to write a sales letter for my course and how to come up with a good title for it and just the whole process felt little overwhelming
Good night

Hi.
It seems like your kindle publishing gets okay sales..Why not keep working on that, and make the course after you have crazy sales numbers?

I'm a life long lover of games. Lots of good advice itt, but I think that you should ideally try to achieve balance. Maybe use a half hour of gaming to reward yourself for a productive day, for example.
Gaming can be a healthy hobby. (Read Reality is Broken, great book in the subject) As long as you don't stay into addiction territory.
Also, games like Habitica that gamify your life, chores, tasks can be helpful.
It can be hard, but it is possible to enjoy gaming as part of a balance life.
P.S. The suggestions about you doing something related to gaming for your business sound like they could be great. Maybe you could do ebooks/info products around gaming. I know there is a ton of demand for Minecraft content for example.

Sorry for the bump but, why not turn your gaming addiction into a business? I know plenty of people who made thousands off of video games. I made $11,000 in profit off of a minecraft server in 3 months, and it only costed be $150 in total. Took 2 hours a day for 2 weeks to set it up, and 1 hour a day to check up on things and manage it. My friend also ran a minecraft server which payed for his entire college tuition and fees plus 30k left over. You probably don't play minecraft, but you can create anything else, like a marketplace where people can trade csgo skins for real money, a server hosting business or a boosting business for counter strike/league. Gaming is a very reinvestable business, so just stick with what you enjoy.

Ok I havent updated thread because my money got stolen(all of it, had around 5k which is alot to me) and I got discouraged. Anyways I did some normal work(created website for a client) and now I got 1026 dollars in my bank account. The website took 4 hours to create haha xD people pay alot for having a website created lol. I still got my money that i have in stocks but im not going to use it
