I just got feedback back from a project I did.
I got blamed for being late because I arrived at 9.30 every day (my contracted hours are 09.30 - 17.30). Apparently this led to my manager having to do more work.
I even didn't go to lunch for my hour break and had food at my desk. No mention of this.
The manager was letting me leave 30 mins early sometimes because there was no work to do. There were times when he said we are top of everything there is nothing for you at the moment.
No F*cking appreciation in the Corporate World. A load of shit.
Now I'm deciding whether to put up with another 2 years and a half of this crap, or quitting now and focusing full time on my start-up.
The irony is I may have to stay now, because if I leave now my reference is not going to be any good.
