One of my clients is old school. Has a service-based business. Does some old school advertising, doesn't want to touch Google ads or any type of digital advertising. I rebuilt their websites a few years ago. 1500 website form submissions since March. The metrics are actually kind of crazy with how much organic traffic is coming to the website (or, seemingly organic). It probably helps that big trucks are driving around town with their name on it and people are familiar with them.

Meanwhile, I've setup a similar service-based website for my father, $500 of ad spend in- zero lead forms/submissions, Google My Business profile suspended. Going to scale this back next week, get GMB working correctly, and try to get some initial reviews. Have combed through a lot of Andy Black's SEO threads & videos; heck, just did a 14-week simulation in one of my classes last year for this as well. Will share another update in November...

1500 form submissions is crazy.

when you work with established businesses you'll find they already have lots of traffic.

so your time is better spent on CRO (conversion rate optimization) rather than SEO / Paid Search
