Hello,
I've invested over 1k EUR for the last month into equipment for window cleaning equipment, and hired one technician.
It's pretty competitive and I just started running google ads, but the numbers seem pretty bad?
Here's a breakdown...
An average job priced 40€ takes 20-25 minutes for a technician using traditional tools to complete (not water-fed yet). The technician is paid 30% of revenue, meaning they earn 13€. A technician can do probably 10 jobs a day.
Knowing industry averages, it is possible to acquire leads for 5€/lead, let's suppose 50% close rate since it's a simple service, meaning 10€/client; excluding close rates.
For a one-time job, we have already spent... 25€ out of 40€.
Of that, around 25% is taxed from revenue, meaning the job is actually 30€ "pure" revenue.
...
this is 5€ left... for me, the business owner, for the equipment, truck gas... the equipment which costs 500€/kit, if we are taking a suitable for Dublin one. I think truck gas alone will be a few euro. I also need to call people to confirm jobs and close them.
this is 50€/day per tech assuming full jobs assuming non-recurring jobs. The technician gets paid on average 130€/day which is on the lower end in Dublin.
This looks pretty bad. Not much more profitable than just going out and doing jobs myself, even though I make petty 200€/day with it.
@David Fitz how does that look for you?
