I am in the process of structuring a real estate investment company. I wanted to know if the process of buying, renting, and selling properties can be broken down into the following functions:

1. Acquisition
2. Development/Renovation
3. Management
4. Maintenance
5. Disposition
Since all of the functions require some financial transactions, should finances be a separate function or does it fall under management?
So, management will look like the following:
Management
A. Property
B. Finances
I know that I will be hands on in the Acquisition, Disposition, and financial aspects. The plan is to outsource the other functions.
