Am I the only person who thinks it's stupid that investors can sue a company just because the company lost money?

I guess the keyword is mislead. I agree you should do due diligence but you’d have to agree there is something wrong with misleading people to get them to invest.

also when it comes to investing im not sure how much you expect people to do. There’s a food company here in Australia that was audited and they found that most of the stock on thier books was expired, so they basically mislead people and fudged the numbers to make it looks like they had millions of dollars of inventory. You can check FNP on the asx to see what the share price did.

Did you want every investor to go and check the date on the products in their warehouse?

That’s why we should have these laws about misleading people and being able to sue if you are mislead. There’s only so much you can do and you should be able to take people at their word and know that if they are lying they will be punished. I’m not saying invest in an obvious scam and then complain when you get scammed but at the same time, you really can’t be expected to check the dates on their inventory for example.

If they sucked at it or it just didn’t work for whatever reason then that’s one thing and I’d agree that’s a risk with any business or investment. But if they mislead people deliberately, for example claiming they had houses worth so much money when they knew they weren’t, then that’s another thing.

Austria reduces the validity period of vax passports from 12 months to 9 months after 6th December 2021. It is possible to extend the period for the passport by another 3 months by using a so called "booster vaccination". Some German politicians like Markus Söder also plan such a validity period reduction in Germany.

Now the interesting part about those vaccines:
1) Fully vaccinating yourself every 9 months requires 8 vaccines over 3 years.
2) Fully vaccinating yourself every 12 months and boosting requires 9 vaccines over 3 years.

So what is the reason for booster vaccination if regular vaccination every 9 months still helps against C0VlD-19? Or doesn't it? In any way, booster vaccination requires 12.5% more resources and more time for doctors. And then the governments complain about not having enough money and the doctors complain about long working hours.

Scarcity (only for elderly and immune compromised...for now, get in line. we might not have enough doses! someone do something, make the government order more!)
Authority (so & so with these credentials say it's 100% safe & effective...you're not a doctor, why question them?)
Commitment & Consistency (you got the 1st shot, now get the 2nd, now the 3rd.....you are a healthy person that wants to save the world right? not changing your mind now are you?)
Liking (put well known names & celebrities out there endorsing your product)
Consensus (vaxx rate is 85% in our country...everyone else is doing it...come onnnn)

Failing all that, they offered burgers & fries, donuts, lotteries, scholarships....but now the carrot isn't working anymore. It's time to use the stick.
