I live in a small city of about 10,000 and have seen businesses struggle with marketing now that print has become less popular. Do you guys think that marketing will shift almost entirely to digital? Will the ways of spreading advertisements online change in the next decade? What can a new businesses do when they have to advertise in the same domain as many larger companies?

I have been doing Digital marketing from quite a few time, what I have experienced till now, I can say marketing is rapidly switching from traditional to digital way.
Now if we talk through business perspective, you need to adopt the Digital marketing strategies for the sake of making a presence where the actual audience are.

Yes. Yes. Tell your story online, advertise online on digital platforms, show your uniqueness and local connection instead of just a big company budget. See what big brands do in terms of online advertising and do it better with a smaller budget, be authentic, show what's your business all about.
