Started to write my first Sword & Sorcery book yesterday, started writing late at night and
ended right about 1 am. Yesterday I managed to write 1.700 words. Today I
dedicated most of the day to writing more, before ending off for the night I checked how many
words I had written. It landed on around 6.400 words, a bit more than my goal of 5.000 words
per day.
If I can keep up this pace, I will be able to finish a 30.000 word book per week which is also
my goal. I don't really have any trouble keeping up such a pace, the system where I basically
let the lead characters role-play for me turned out to be a big help.
Will look into getting a good cover for my first book after I get some sleep. Feels good to know that
all the other things I have written helped me hone my skills to a level that I feel is quite good but
nothing to boast about.
Edit: Chose to start a new thread, wanted to write about this but did not want to do it on any other thread. Felt that if I did, it would feel like I was hi-jacking that thread. Felt that it would be better to just start my own progress thread than hi-jack a thread.
