So, I was taking a course the other day..
It was all the normal stuff until I went to his mentality portion and he said something that really hit me super hard.
Basically, he said that we kind of become stuck in these patterns or "loops" of existence.
Let's say your house cleaning.
Your house is super clean and immaculate.
Then as the days wear on you don't clean because it was immaculate.
A few days later you find that your entire house is a mess and you're stressing to get it clean.
You finally clean it and then the process starts all over again.
Or, let's say your bank account for example.
Do you ever notice when you hit a certain amount in your account that you FREAK OUT when your money dips below that number?
Then you hit this ceiling amount that you can't get over?
For example, someone freaks out below 1 grand and they bust a$$ to get back to 5 grand where they then start spending like wild and knock their self back to 1 grand and then back up to 5..you get the point.
Well, it's said that we live in the median of these extremities. I found this to BLOW MY MIND.
He stated the reason why this happens is that we deny what is happening and we must overcome that.
"My house is clean, I don't need to clean it because I just did yesterday." Keep cleaning.
I believe that the lowest level of standard we have is truly our highest level of standard.
Loose ends seem to create clutter in our minds and the way we handle one thing is how we handle everything else.
Do you guys agree with this?
Do you think as business owners our business is a reflection of our personal life?
I wanted to pass this along and hope someone can relate to it as I did.
I hope this helps
