Just curious MJ, why do you say that with your help the venture was executed better than the course itself and yet “he sold nothing”? What does better mean here, I thought the criteria to judge by was sales?

I added some professionalism to his presentation and sales outreach. The course screamed amateur, kinda like that kid who rang my doorbell wanting to wash the $300,000 in windows on my home with his $4 Home Depot brush.

At our warehouse we just leave the pallets out and people come and get them. They have a pickup and always have a ton of pallets stacked super high.

But they only take the pallets they can resell and leave the junk ones. So sometimes we tell them they must take our shitty ones or we won’t leave them any good ones next time.

Definitely not just some dumpster divers looking for a quick buck.

I wouldn't call it scraping for garbage necessarily. There are far worse hustles out there like moving or junk removal.

You shoulda seen the bill I paid to the Junk Removal guys a few months ago...


I thought the price was ludicrous... yet I paid it anyways, because damned if I was going to make 40 back and forth trips to the front yard and 4 trips to the dump myself.


Definitely some money to be made in junk.


Pallets, junk, it's like anything else. It's about the repeatable and scalable systems you put in place.
