Been lurking around here. Just got the notification that there will be a paywall and it woke me up to really start reading and learning from this forum. This is so far the best and most motivating forum on business and entrepreneurship.
Overall, I love this forum and I'm happy that MJ DeMarco is pushing us to contribute. Gonna start posting more often about my experiences in business and learnings as I go.
I made an intro post a year ago on Sep 3 2023. Time flies really fast. I moved out my small town into the Big City this year as I felt like I was getting stuck.

I realize that Saving, Investing, and Budgeting can be taken anywhere but my primary means of income has to change.
I needed to evolve as a person. I know a Big City is expensive but the exposure to all kinds of people and the opportunities for growth and self-development are enormous compared to a small town. I needed to develop my skillset and grow radically in my personality and skillset.

I'm still a Technical Writer and the industry is booming. A.I will not replace technical writers as there is growth in the industry for A.I Technical writers.
Still growing my skillset in this industry and this sustained me, I am lucky, grateful and thankful to be in this industry.

I now want to start an online business. Primary goal is independent location income by working remotely.
So far the only thing is freelance and online work as a technical writer or something with music which I'm not experienced yet so I have no product/service to offer.

Is it best to just start as freelance with current skillset first just to increase income before online business?
The hardest thing is figuring out an online business with my current skillset. How did you start online business even with basic skillset?
