Hi everyone. I'm a noob to the fastlane forum. I think I got to here from stumbleupon, i read a few entries and I am intrigued. I'm currently in the military. I've been in 5 and have 3 years before I can get out, but I'd like to start learning how to make money before I do leave so that I can be in charge of my own life.
If you want to know my business experience, it's near zero. I helped my father run a small construction company, and that's what I'd like to do as well, though I'd like to do green construction. However, if you've ever take the "Now, Discover Your Strengths" test, my top five strengths are strategic, ideation, activator, intellection and individualization. That means I'm sort of a serial outside the box thinker who needs to start new things all the time. I'm halfway through my MBA with American Military University and that seems fine. I think it's helping me increase my business acumen and I relearned stats, plus I foresee my textbooks having value as references in the future.
One of my most recent projects is a website paleojuicer.com. I have never made a website before and I love juicing fresh fruits and vegetables as well as learning about the paleo diet, so I figured I'd combine the two.
The main thing I want is tons of money, which I equate with freedom to live my life that way I want, to not be tied down to a single location, the ability to provide my children with the best in life and with the power to get things done. I want to change the world, and I'm confident that if I am given the power to do so, I will change the world for the better.
Well, I look forward to collaborating with some of the patrons of this site in the future. Perhaps we can motivate each other.
