New SEO plugin for WP

I started building this in May to take on Rank Math, Yoast, and every other bloated SEO plugin that likes to spam users with upsells, review requests, etc.

With tens of millions of installs, the leading SEO plugin players cannot simply rebuild their plugins to make them agentic-first from the ground up. Too much would break for their existing customers. And, bolting on AI capabilities as an afterthought will never be as clean. I built it for WP 7.0+ and up, which just launched earlier this year and unlocked the Abilities API, enabling more WP-specific agentic workflows.

I'm positioning it as a premium, private plugin, probably targeted towards agencies. $199/year for unlimited sites.

I built it with a combination of Fable 5 and my own 10 years of experience building websites & plugins on WordPress, pre-AI. The core SEO plugin covers 14 modules like schema, sitemaps, social, on-page SEO, etc... everything you need from an SEO plugin. The agentic part covers 30 capabilities. Reading SEO settings, auditing the sitemap, updating SEO fields, bulk editing post SEO, suggesting links, a review queue, approving proposals, logging all actions taken, etc. Each capability is super narrow which is why there are 30.


I initially built out an AI visibility report tool to go with it, a product that agencies can white-label and create reports for their clients. I am a bit conflicted on whether or not this should ship with the plugin at launch; its obviously a major differentiator, but it locks me into the agency-positioning play and its kind of a separate product. What I've done instead is convert into a free AI visibility scan as a leadgen tool.
