TBH...I'm still not feeling the white text on the coloured buttons. I can barely see what the light green and yellow buttons say. Needs contrast so the words are clearly visible. Have you tried it with dark text? If you don't like full black (my preference) perhaps a charcoal (not quite black). For menus and buttons you need contrast. If you don't want to go with dark text perhaps applying a slight drop shadow or stroke (thin outline) around the text might help? I don't have an Android so can't test it though.

Great idea! Thank you my friend. I tried darker in the past, but it was a bit sad. But now, I will take your advice and add drop shadow. iOS version is on it's way :)

Solid tips by the the forum, so don't want to duplicate any suggestions. Thought i'd mention that you should be talking to your users. Talk to the people who directly download your app for its intended purposes. Outside of color/font/UI changes, they are going to be gold for giving you feedback to incorporate into the app.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet or if it's in the app bit you should make it location based. I.e. the things to do are things do to do around your current location. Maybe tie into Google maps or some other map.

Great progress on the design. Now it's time to drive some users in there and see what the market wants!
Hehe, thanks man! I appreciate your feedback and yes, no break. I will make some serious improvements to create more value for people.

I'd change the name of the app. To me it just looks like a text string that's just been put their until you add the real title. Like an unfinished app.

What are you doing to promote it? I would start thinking about your target audience and how you can reach them, as soon as possible, unless you are only building the app as a learning tool for yourself.

Thank you! Right now to market it, I am using my Facebook profile since I have over 3,000 friends. And in the next update I will add something that will make the app to market itself. Word of mouth is the best marketing strategy.

Awesome update man!

I would suggest fixing the grammar. "Never run out things to do with your life" and "Amazing application that helps you with ideas to what to do, when you don't know" is just bad English and gives off a very amateur feel to the app. Good luck!!
Thank you very much :)

Curious...Are these ideas hard-coded into the app or are you accessing an external service of yours that you'll be needing to update constantly with new ideas?

I'd create a way for people to share ideas. Then you can add the ones you like to the app. Your customers are now working for you. People love giving advice, and it gives them more interaction with the app. Maybe even add a social aspect where people can see who came up with the tip. Just some ideas off the top of my head. They may or may not be good, so use them at your own risk.

Well a friend told me the exact same thing you did. Now that you said also this I will take it serious and apply it as soon as possible :)

Do you think I should also allow people to post photos for their ideas like I did?

Thank you a lot!

The new look is much better. I'd brighten up the colours a little more though. They seem too muted against that background. Maybe also try a thin 1 pixel border to see how it looks? Vast improvement though. Keep going.

I will do so. Thank you :)

Right now they are hard-coded, but I will change this.

Yea, you definitely want to leverage your users so your "things to do" archive grows and grows. Once users believe the app has crashed out on ideas, they will stop using it.

Overall, it looks much improved and this looks like something I would use.

Wow, I think this is the only invention I made that generate positive feedback from everybody.

Thank you MJ, you saved my life! IOS version is on it's way special for you :)

How are you doing? I don't have a lot of free time today so I haven't used it too much but maybe my list will be useful. ;)

1. I didn't like that I have to register before I could see anything.
2. App crashed 2 times when I was typing in register activity.
3. After Using "+" button I have to return to the menu using the top left back button cause bottom left leads to my wallpaper (app is killed).
4. Maybe you could add modern wallpaper to your splash and settings activity.
5. Images are loading about 2-3sec. Maybe you could load the first image in a smaller resolution and then replace it?
6. I think "Idea #NUM" and description should be centered.
7. Nickname is shown on an account image.
8. It's weird but the logo is kinda similar to the LGBT flag. I don't know if you made it on purpose.
9. The main menu looks better. Maybe you could make white borders smaller, blend buttons with the background photo.

I'm using Sony C1905 4.1.2

addittion to J_cup (I agree to all of his points)
- the "back" button shuts down the app, I instinctively push on it if I want to go one step back. From Health ideas to the main menu for example.
-maybe a link to the suggestion of the idea, maybe even a sponsored link. travel ideas could be linked to travel agency's site. Travel to chitzen itza was a suggestion.. why would I go there, what is to see there?
- a health suggestion with a link to a persons blog which proves what you suggested: Why should I drink a 10 eggwhite oat meal smoothy after workout?

people are lazy you could leverage that in my opinion. If they dont have to go out on the web and research further themselves that could be an improvement.
Now I saw your comment. First, thank you for help!
- When I click on the back button(the logo) the app doesn't shut down app for me. You are the first person that is telling me this. But I will have a deep look to check things
- When you say "a link" do you mean more information about that idea ? For example: hotel, locations, recipe, etc? By this I mean ads, link to a website or a longer description.

Now I saw what LGBT means. No is not on purpose but now for sure I will change it! Thanks for enlightening me.

In a couple of days I will release the iOS version of this app. Many people asked me to do so.

But I am not sure of something.

Within the app, is a category named "Sex" and I think that some people may post indecent photos there and Apple may ban the app.

Should I allow users to post their own ideas but first verify them before they are available (not leveraging)? Or should I let them report if they see something going wrong (leveraging)?

What do you think guys?

Thank you!
