As some of you know, I have a (currently) small real estate brokerage in the Phoenix metro area & I’m looking to grow the number of agents that I have in the firm. Does anyone here have experience in recruiting? I am in need of help/insight/advice as I am not turning out the response I would like.
Avenues tried thus far:
Cold calling –which I hate, but I’m willing to do (whatever it takes, right? You’re talkin’ to the gal who got her first listing from going door to door & knocking) -from my experience in sales, I know that my pitch is off in some way -it's all about the delivery.
Email blasts to local agents –paltry response at best (mostly REMOVE ME responses with multiple exclamation points following)
Craigs List ads –also paltry response (and IMO, not the right medium for what I need to find: independent contractors as well as other brokers looking to come on board and build an office -residential & commercial)
As far as what we offer as a brokerage (100% house PLUS a guaranteed less-than- 90 min broker call-back) can’t be touched by any other real estate brokerage here in the valley (state) –so we sell ourselves on that forefront. Real estate agents in the state of AZ are independent contractors & self-employed in every respect -I need help with a strategy for reaching them.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions? Insight? I'm open to any feedback, as it would be greatly appreciated... especially if you're in the business and have been successful with this endeavor yourself -thanks for your time!!

oh & ps: the ultimate goals for the Phx metro area are 12-13 brokers w/ 200-300 agents apiece -then we expand into Tucson, Sedona, Flagstaff, etc -in case you were wondering about desired end result
