Need to get a blog up-- fast and cheap

Just bought a URL for a promotion that will go nationwide in about 2 weeks.

Should be some decent media play on it.

Need to get this indexed on the search engines (so when people type in the words, they'll find us), and get a few blog posts up.

What is the fastest/cheapest way to do this, ASAP?

The promotion only lasts a few months, max-- so this is a limited time thing.

Any advice/suggestions would be welcomed.

BTW, it's parked on Godaddy right now-- so if they have a low-cost option that I can cancel/delete by July, that's cool too.

Getting SEO for this is important-- so whatever is the best way to do that.

I'm very familiar w/blogger-- so if there is a way to do that, I'm also all over it.

We have a website hosting company-- I will contact them as well.
