Hello out there....... I read the book and have been a member for a number of years. That being said I have always only been an on and off lurker. I must say right off the bat that TMF really changed the way I look at business and is one of the best business books I've ever read! Thanks MJ! I would also like to thank all of the amazing people on this forum for sharing their expertise, time and advise. It realy is amazing to me how much value is buried in these posts.
As my intro states, yes I live my dream most of the time but am hoping to speed up to the fastlane. I have a very successful contracting / service business which is seasonal. This means I work very hard for 7 months of the year and pretty much ski for 5. Yes there is always work to do but nothing so important as to miss a powder day. I'm investigating licensing and franchise ideas to scale up to the fastlane. We do original construction and service, the main profit center being my service business. The model is, the construction adds new clients to the service business. All leads are word of mouth. We spend nothing on traditional advertising as we have tested it many times and it generated zero.
Any advice or thoughts on these subjects would be most appreciated. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
