Newbreed moved me to the higher belt division to face the blue belt.

When I got home from class last night, I learned he dropped out of the tournament last minute.

Now I'm the only competitor in the Masters Gi Blue Belt division and I'm not a blue belt!!

Guess I'll switch to the adult white belt division and fight the 20 years olds.

I was super excited to go head to head with a blue belt.

Oh well, that's what tournaments do.

They force you to face fear, nerves, anxiety, ego...or to run from them.

One way or another, you learn something about who you are.
