I would say do something different. If you're getting fired a lot it can be your attitude, how you communicate, how you react rather than respond. When you work for someone they're running a business. Some are anal and jerks and others are not. Rarely do you get rewards in the work force. You're reward is your pay check. If you're lucky to work for a company that focuses on their employees and maintaining work relationships that is a better environment. I've been in both negative and positive environments and you should be able to get a feel by doing your research, what they stand for, and what they're about.
When I've been to interviews I know by the way the people ask questions and act what kind of environment they provide. Walking through the environment on tour. I walked off a temp job in three hours because I knew I would be injured on the job. And they didn't care about safety.
I worked in another place that porn was plastered everywhere and I was the only women. I walked out of their too. I suppose it's your choice where you want to work, versus allowing others to determine whether you are fired or not. Even volunteering or doing internships you learn what kind of environment the company holds. Talk to other people who work there before you get hired.
Know your self, and what type of work fits your personality. If you're doing something you hate with a passion it's going to show up in your work.
