I don't know what to say about myself. I started my real estate career 41 years ago in 1976. I've been on every side of a transaction and done every job in the real estate world over the years. I spent most of my career in Los Angeles working as a broker, commercial & residential real estate appraiser and an expert in State & Federal Court. I even went to law school to support my expert practice.
Now I have a mobile home park in rural Alaska. I moved here and bought out my Dad's interest in this property after my parents divorced, and Mom then died. I've spent the last few years building it up and making it successful. Now, it's become the only "bank" of affordable housing in my community, that houses about 150 people year around; along with a small laundromat I built out -- which is also the only one in my community: some full hook-up RV spots that we rent during the summer/fishing season -- the only full hook RV spaces in our community as well; a small espresso/gift store on the highway at the mouth of the mobile home park, that double as my office & it has a couple of sleeping rooms that we rent out by the night, week or month. I also dabble in buying and selling trust deeds on the side. Most days, I run my a$$ off, day in and day out, to take care of my many tenants and business interests. And I'm supposed to be retired... go figure.
I want to take all my years of real estate experience and roll into a new business that is a lot less time consuming. I'm tired of being tied down.
