Here is the question- when you decide to embark are the journey to success, is it better to follow one you enjoy/are passionite about, or one you have proven skills with?
Here is some back story-
The general guru position is that the road to success is paved with your passion. My main life passion is feedyourfamilyfeedtheworld.com, but not for success, that is for giving back.
For success, I totally enjoy making websites and trying to promote them. However, I am way behind on the learning curve, and my earnings to date are $2.34 on sites I have created. So success is a long way off.
However, though I do not enjoy it, I have a knack for real estate investing. It hit me like a bolt of lightning this weekend, if I follow the real estate path, I could be financially free in 6 years. I see the path sooo clearly, like a running back seeing an opening to run through and then executing.
If I follow the web business path, who knows, I am unproven.
So, those of you at the other end of the spectrum which would your recommend?
