Hello everyone, my name is Ivan Berezin. I am currently studying philosophy.
I absolutley love what I am studying but I know I can't rely on it to be economically succesful, not in the country I live anyway.
I also know I can't stand working a job that I do not love or that is in someone elses terms (like working for a company).
That is why I really want to learn how to do online buisness so I can sell products and services I am passionate about and one day be able to provide for myself and my family.
My goal is to make 1k a month before June of next year (I have around 8 months).
I am tired of all these instagram gurus which say that the only way to make money is by growing a social media account by posting daily videos and then teaching more people how to grow their own instagram account, its a pyramid scheme which will eventually stop working, it is not what I enjoy doing, and I know there have to be other ways.
Some of the things I have tried are giving coaching sessions (I have a coaching certificate from a school in Spain) and giving courses on topics I like such as Creative Writing and Jordan Peterson.
Probably my dream buisness would be a course buisness in which I can upload and/or personally teach different courses I develop as I learn more things about the things I am passionate about, and also be able to give coaching sessions or mentoring to the students which want to go deeper into the topics or which have liked my teaching style and want some personal help on their lives.
However, and I think the cause of this is that my marketing and sales skills are still very poor, I haven't been able to make money out of any of these projects.
I even grew scared of trying because I ran out of money for advertising, and I decided that perhaps the best path forward would be to learn about business, about sales, and about marketing, and find a community and a mentor which could help me, before I started repeating the same process I have done which hasn't worked time and time again.
If any of you have any advice or any resources I could use I would greatly apreciate everything!
Right now I am considering reading Naval's Almanack and doing Alex Hormozi's courses as my first steps.
