Is there a way to track call leads I bring my clients?

Hey Guys,

For those of you doing any sort of marketing or lead generation for your clients.... is there anyway you track call leads?

I know a few companies that do something like:

-create and assign a specific phone number (must have a deal with a phone/VOIP company to be a phone number reseller) to each specific client, and display that specific phone number on their client's website, ads, etc.
-because the company created this number (it is in their possession) they can use software to track all the calls that go to that number.

Is there a plausible app/service/software out there that you know of or use that can achieve something similar?

I've been using IfByPhone for call tracking and IVR's for the past 10 months or so. Solid company, solid customer service. Should have most of the options that you are looking for. If you do choose them, ask for Jeremy, he'll get you taken care of.

What does IVR stand for?

IVR = Interactive Voice Response. It's the "press or say 1 to reach the sales department", etc. system that a lot of large companies use for inbound phone calls.
