Ordered a sample and was expecting it not to be certified and legally for sale in Europe because I contacted the manufacturer and asked them if they have the relevant CE FCC markings and they said since it is a new product that they don't.
The sample arrived with the CE, ROHS and FCC marks on the box with the CE marking on the charger. None on the actual product but not every electronic has the markings place on the product for example my iPad/macbook pro have CE + FCC but my sony phone does not.
Are they counterfeiting the markings or do they actually have the product certified ?
How do I know if the legally have the CE, FCC and ROHS marking or they just printed it on the box/charger ?
This is the one hurdle I have before I can customise and make adjustments to the product and ordering some sellable product.
