Okay hear me out.
It says in "The Millionaire Fastlen" Chapter 13

:checkbox:Slowlaners attempt to manipulate intrinsic value by edjucation.
:checkbox:Indentured time is time you spend earning a living. It is the opposite of free time.
:checkbox:Your expensive education might cause indentured time.
:checkbox:Parasitic debt is debt that creates indentured time and forces work.

To make it clear im not dense. Becoming a "car mechanic master" is not going to make me go fastlane all by itself. I am very much aware of that.

However im a 21 year old kid with absolutely no knowledge about managing my own company aswell as lots of other things.
Also basic car mechanics like myself are payed about 1.500€ - 2000€, with a 2 room apartment costing about 800€ with heat.
Now add food, car, bike, fitness, fun, ensurance in case I become unable to work and retirement and you may see that there aint much left.
Wich sucks especially if youre trying to nurse up a proper Fastlane with the leftover chash.

Here are the direct benifits:
-Earning 2000€ and up (better back-up job)
-Being able to start my own workshop without hireing and expensive Car Mech.Master to work for me.

Learning about relevant topics like
-Marketing
-Employee Management
-Customer and Employee Communication
-Work management via computer systems
Aswell as lots of car specific in depth knowledge like air bag systems, ignition and engine management, car electronics and so on.

The former I assume should be able to aid me in other fields aswell

Cons:
-Whole manouver will take till October 2025 to complete and start in September 2024
-Half of my work week will be eaten up completely by this aswell as a quarter of my weekend

I could cut the time down massively by sacrificing my savings and the work experience id gain in that year (wich I really need)
Parasitic dept isnt a concern since by assaulting the right gouvernment institution with lots of correctly filled out paper work, I can get them to pay almost all of it.
Leaving costs of about 3.671,25€ wich as of right now, I can afford.

So the question remains, even with all my justifications is this worth the time and money invested OR should I just start my own company like trucking and learn by exposure.
Is it prehabs better to focus on websites and software because of thier inherant global reach and easier automatizeablity?

Car repairing is a valuable skill.

You can learn everything you need and open up a workshop next time.

Yea but opening up a workshop by itself isnt fastlane. Now if I found a way to get most of germany or neigbouring countrys to come to my shop, that would be a different story. Question is, how does one justify people driving this long of a distance to a shop? The only possible idea ive got is rich or mad people that belive the work Id be doing would be worth the time and distance.
Or I can try and build apon the workshop, going into body shop territory, specialising in brand, vehicle type, special mods...
Going for a cab service or trucking, or used dealer. Altho those are proven to themselves not necesserily being the best value scews.

Physical shops do not scale easily as hard as softwares for sure.

You have to learn to the rope of the business by getting involved in the business first.

Physical inspections of cars periodically are mandatory by law.

You also want to make sure that your workshops are on most insurance companies’s list of working partners.

Google, Microsoft and a genius 2000 miles away from you cannot disrupt your business easily.

Illegal modification of vehicles is hyper-fast lane but of course you should not do illegal stuffs.

The point is I am not in that trade and even I have heard about the juices in that industry.

Can you develop a certain car part and sell it online?
Havent really pondered that one before. Question is whats the thing that people would want in thier car.
Most people just want thier damn car to run, eat no fuel, be powerfull, be abuseable.
The most underestimated product is probably the auxillary heater. Can heat up the interior and engine, by burning fuel.
For the euro marked they need to pass a certain test in a euro country and then they could in theory be mounted into any ICE car be it Diesel or Gas car they were tested for without any paperwork. At least in germany.
Question is would it really be as easy as engineering, marketing and installing them. Would the demand be great enough?
Hmmm thanks for the thought fodder. I will have to do some thinking on this one.
