You have changed my life in the best way possible.
First, my Reticular Activating System. Now, because of you, I can see value everywhere! My micro-processes, such as learning to focus, meditating, journaling, questioning myself and my environment, reading and putting what I read into action, and much more than I can recall.
I can see everything as a process now.
Why am I here?
I live in France, in Toulouse, and come from a lower-middle-class background without any connections.
I need real interactions with people on the same frequency, focused on their goals—not only the big bucks,
but the freedom of choosing, taking control of this one chance to live our only life on our own terms!
I'm currently completing my last year at university, studying computer science and statistics. I entered this program because of Mr. DeMarco.
After reading The Fastlane, I concluded I had a big knowledge gap. But right now, I know that I was just scared of making the first move: THINKING of the possible problems, finding solutions, and bringing value!!!
At the same time, I would like your thoughts on my first venture.
I am currently programming a SaaS. Yeah, sorry, another one. With it, I want to facilitate the independent tutor's life, allowing them to have a perfect view of where their student's knowledge gap is lying, and giving the family constant feedback on progress with real metrics.
But, as Mr. DeMarco said, the entry barriers are F*cked with AI agents all over the place.I was planning to sell it to independent tutors and agencies.
I know that it is going to bring a lot of value to independent tutors, but there is nothing stopping agencies from copying the entire SaaS.
So, my second plan is to use my software as a comparative advantage in addition to other skewed value: build my own prototype agency, then go conquer Europe.
I would like your thoughts, not on what I should do, but what and where I should look to find the answer to this decision. What type of questions should I ask myself?
