Don't make money from your friends. Not because it's not ethical, I couldn't care less. It's because friends are bad customers. Making money from your friends is for people in pyramid schemes.

Along the way you'll learn copywriting from writing your ads, sales from meeting with your clients, client management as you get more clients, marketing when your ads don't work as well as they could, design when you need to make the creative for your ads, taxes as you start to make some more money, management when you get employees to help you, etc. You'll learn the 10,000 things that a real entrepreneur knows about business by getting your hands dirty and just starting. It's probably not even a very good business idea as so many other people do it. But you'll become much more lethal when it comes time to build your app idea that you have in February of 2022 or whatever. You see my point? Just start.
Everyone "wants to help people" because it's a placeholder that makes you feel good. My girlfriend used to say the same thing until I called her out on it. Wanting to help people is not a career path just like how putting "brush your teeth" doesn't really belong on a to-do list.
Also, forget what your parents think. Do they have the lifestyle you aspire for? Then that's all you need to ask. When my parents and extended family tried to shame me into listening to their advice I would look them in the eyes and say "Did it work out for you? I don't want your life". The conversation would always end there.
