To be brutally honest ... I met this guy when I started college. I owned a motorbike and he was too scared to travel alone!
He offered to pay for the fuel if I gave him a ride ... he would escape the bus and "The" bullies and I could extract some money from him ( I was poor as fu*k so please judge me! )
I carried him for 4 years .. the piggyback ride and he paid in full for the service ... including the fuel and the spares during that duration ...
But F*ck ... I am human too ... and I bonded with him.
He was my best man at my wedding, I was at his!
Once he married a scheming *****, things changed. He Changed.
2 decades down the line ...
I was passing by and I knocked on his door!
His son opened and I greeted him with expensive presents!
and left some expensive presents for the couple ...
While I was leaving ... I asked his 10-year-old son (I hosted his b'day for a decade) .. who was I?
He said ... I don't know you!
I cold-blooded ended the relationship ...
I wish I had done it sooner with the freeloaders!
But I want to send an expensive "thanking you" gift for the son because he was the one to reset "ME" to what I was!
On second thoughts ... I don't want another freeloader!
