I know it seems overwhelming at 20 to have lost $15k. But I can assure you, if that is the worst mistake you make for the rest of your life, you'll be just fine.

Write it off to a (relatively) expensive lesson learned. You probably learned more about business on that one transaction than you will with a whole semester's tuition. Because unlike most of your classes, I can guarantee you that is one lesson that you won't soon forget after your final exams have passed.

Chin up.

Yea, not to pile on, but the money is gone.

If you send any large amount of cash to any organization, always do diligence first. Google their name, append "scam" to the back of the search. Google the telephone #. Google the guy's name. This forum has exposed the Joni Goltam scam and saved thousands for many because many chose to do diligence first.

. . if you are going to gamble on anything, bet on yourself... because nobody cares about you or your money more than you do.

Love it!

Learn from your mistake... with the intention never to repeat it and move on. That's the best you can do... and stop asking and looking around for help.

I have to agree with most of the posts... asking for a handout is not correct here.

As a young person, I've made several stupid mistakes that have cost me several thousand dollars. Luckily, in a similar situation I did cancel the Western Union transfer in time to recover the 1,200.

But, I wasn't so lucky later on in life and lost much, much more buying a business that had its books faked.

All I'm saying is this: Use this as a learning experience. I know I have and it sure helped a lot.

Tuition fee paid. Just ensure you learn from it.:nonod:
