Okay this is like really strange but I dont know what to do about this or if it is even a problem at all...

Recently, I imagine people to be dogs. Specifically dogs that can smile, like a Samoyed.

If I imagine people talking, I see dogs smiling and talking in my head.

If I am listening to music, I imagine dogs dancing and smiling. wtf is wrong with me

i see this guy all the time

You'll be fine. You know you're imagining it, that's pretty much all that matters. I've gotten all kinds of weird shit stuck in my head. Anyone ever heard the epic sax man loop? Jesus.. I woke up everyday for like a month with that stuck in my head. Ah, dammit, it's back now.

On a serious note -- it'll pass, relax. I used to get really bizarre thoughts when I would space out. Didn't have them for years and then last month, this really kind-of pestering person was babbling to me, as much as I tried to listen, they basically wanted to hear themselves talk and wouldn't let me get a word in (even though they approached me). So, humoring him, he spoke a storm (mostly bragging) while I nodded my head in agreement but had a really weird thought creep in--I wonder what this dude would do if I just lurched in and bit his nose off. Lmao, it was entertaining, made me crack a smile a bit.

Lol guys I don't think OP means he sees physical dog people walking about. Are you speaking about images in your MEMORY of people @OVOvince

Actually, this makes me remember another thing my brain does (or doesn't do) . Whenever I'm on the phone with someone (usually someone I haven't met face to face) or if I hear a song from an artist I've never seen or even get a verbal, physical description of someone--I can't visualize their eyes. I'm not entirely sure why, I'm assuming it's because our eyes are usually a large unique identifier in our faces. I always imagine either black, abyssal holes for eyes or sunglasses lol

I was just teasing. But who, puts they're seeing happy dogs on a site? If he is hallucinating it's probably sleep deprivation or something stupid like that. What kind of responses did he expect to get. lol

Now that you mention it, I'm beginning to feel like I'm missing a joke in the OP haha. I've had some pretty big hallucinations from sleep deprivation. No dogs or clowns, more like me thinking objects were people from a far until, slowly but surely, morphing into an inanimate object the closer I got. Good times.

I can't say I've ever had the experience. I haven't ever been up longer than 24 hrs. My body usually crashes before I even get to that point. Now dreams, I have weird dreams all the time. I have been writing them down in a journal for ideas for fiction.

Don't do it. Well, sometimes good has come from it as far as creating goes. Most of the time it's pretty terrible though. Ironically, once I pass the 24 hour mark it's extremely difficult to fall asleep. I think the longest I've done has a little over 48 hours, reality blurs a bit, felt like everything was in a dream state, felt really depersonalized and detached. Yet, still never saw dogmen lol.
Maybe OP finally got some rest.

No, I don't plan on trying it. Usually I'm good with five to six hours sleeping. And still have plenty of time to work on things. I never really had a reason to stay up longer.
