How to throttle "idea creep"?

I've come with an idea centered around surviving the weekend of youth sports tournaments, but I'm having trouble focusing on one place to start. The first product idea was essential gear for the family. Then quickly my mind raced to the idea of an ebook/digital products. Next it was snack subscription. Where do I start? I've never had a business before and it gets to be overwhelming to the point of being stuck.

Where would I even look to see how large the market is and specifically for each product idea? I've tried a few Google searches but I can't find anything concrete. I have a feeling that it's pretty big in the U.S., but I would like to see the data first.
