Hi all,

My vision is to help speed up the change that is happening in education. It is happening and it can be seen each day at work. However, are these changes going to be enough to help our children gain the life skills they need when they enter the real world (entering jobs that don't even exist yet)?

I am currently working in Qatar as a teacher, originally from England. I ended up getting into education as I have seen so many people let down by it growing up. I've noticed how people become like robots and follow any advice (the script) given to them.

I've noticed this because I have been one of them.

If anyone feels the same or has begun on this journey already, it would be great to hear from you.

I too feel that education has to change. The whole system is outdated and fails to serve both our students and our human society. Things are changing so fast that only the nibble will thrive in these coming days. We aren't teaching the life skills that make that success possible.

FYI -- My parents were both educators -- teachers and principals. I have taught on the college level from time to time.
